CCDMASTER series (2010-present)

Back in 2010-11 I implemented a dedicated Matlab environment for numerical treatment of detector images, as they are recorded in resonant inelastic x-ray scattering experiments.

A straightforward strategy was setup for distinguishing weak signals from noise as well as for the summation of 2D images into 1D spectra using curvatures calculated from cross-correlation.

Recent improvements dealt with code vectorization for enhanced performance and the capability to read NeXus files. The code is freely available for the users of the AERHA spectrometer.
