Evolution temporelle de systèmes quantiques en champs intenses

Our research is focused on the theoretical study of electronic and nuclear dynamics taking place in chemical species, at their natural attosecond (10-18 s) to femtosecond (10-15 s) time scales. Two major topics investigated in the group are the electronic processes occuring in the course of atomic and molecular collisions, and the dynamics of elementary processes in atoms and molecules induced and/or probed by ultra-short pulses

A central motivation of our activity is to provide physical insight on a priori complex processes, with direct applications to the conception or interpretation of experiments - notably for the establishment of emerging attosecond time resolved spectroscopies. It thus includes methodological developments and the implementation of original home-made codes, based on a variety of models ranging from the simpler ones to full fledged approaches. We work in close collaborations with several groups of experimentalists.
